If you have lost/deleted one of your gadgets from the Windows Sidebar in Vista or from Windows Vista Gadget Box all is not lost. If you have removed the gadget from the Sidebar it can be restored by simply clicking on the plus sign and reselecting the gadget. If,however, the gadget has been deleted and is not available for selection right click on the sidebar and select Properties, then simply select the option to Restore gadgets installed with Windows.
We had a quick look at the Quick Google Search Box which is available in XP and Vista and is downloaded with the latest version of the Google Toolbar. Once the toolbar is downloaded in Vista a search box is added to the Task bar which means thet you cn earch the internet without first opening your browser. In XP it is necessary to press the Control(Ctrl) Key twice to display the search box.
Windows 7 has a very useful Action Centre which allows fast access to many useful functions as shown below.
Simply start to type in Action Centre in the Search Box:
Access is now available to many vital functions of Window.
