In the laptop class today a few of us were interested in knowing what is the best & safest proxy site to use in order that we may access TV through I Player. There are some sites thet are offering this service but of course, they are charging for this service. If they can do it, so surely, can we? After all that is our Club motto, IT'S FREE!!! We were hoping that John or Andreas could form a class on this subject, soon. All help gratefully received.

I was searching and searching... i installed about every free solution there is, including cracked commercial ones only to end up with a nasty virus!! Then I found the solution: Have somebody you know in the UK lend you his internet connection and set up your Proxy setting to his ip and the port (usually it´s port 80). Because if you are using one of the many free proxies out there, it might be blacklisted or not available or soooo slow, that it´s really no fun watching... Hope that helped a bit although a little awkward Greets from Polop Andreas
