Upgrading from XP to Windows 7

I may decide to upgrade from XP to the new operating system Windows 7.
As the costs are £149.99 or €199.99 and it would cost me about 199 pounds to get 199 euros with the current exchange rates in Spain I would prefer to pay in pounds sterling.
This may not be a problem but - for instance - when I book on Eurotunnel the only way I can pay in pounds sterling is to claim I live in the UK.
My question is could Microsoft tell if I'm trying to upgrade from Spain and charge accordingly?

Barry, If you are using a UK credit card then I believe that you should be able to purchase this item in pounds sterling. Try Amazon.co.uk if you have any problem with Microsoft.
